THE CHARACTERS
MAX MORPHO age 4
Son of “The Morph,” and a normal mom, MAX has the ability to morph into nearly anything he can imagine. Max likes to morph into kid things, from his favorite toy to his tricycle to a bouncing soccer ball. It takes a lot out of Max when he spends his day morphing, so it isn’t all that strange to see him grow tired half way through dealing with some super-problem. Max then needs to chew on a quick candy bar or slurp down an ice cream soda for an instant pick me up. That’s when the sugar rush comes in and, well, Max becomes a high speed demon morpher.
Max is the leader of the group because he’s the one who comes up with all the cool ideas. If Max learns there’s trouble brewing and he knows his Dad is busy plugging up a volcano elsewhere, well, a Mighty Mite’s gotta do something, doesn’t he? The others usually want to stay and play, but Max’s power of persuasion kicks into overdrive and, well, they’re off and running.
SPINNER age 4 1/2
The daughter of “Whirlwind” and “The Tornado,” Spinner, whose real name is GALE FORCE, moves like an incredibly fast pink tornado, whirling her way through all problems. Gale is always fidgeting, rushing here and there, never finishing anything she begins before she’s off to something new and better.
Both of Spinner’s parents are super-heroes. Her father, The Tornado, can turn into a living tornado who can tear apart steel with his high-pressure winds. Her mother is the Whirlwind who moves at the speed of lightning.
Spinner may not be as quick as her Mom, or as stormy as her Dad, but once she gets started you’d better get out of her way. Gale believes it’s up to her to keep up the family tradition all by herself because her brother Wayne doesn’t have any special powers of his own. Spinner tries to console her brother because he’s a normal boy and not super-powered, but she doesn’t always do a good job.
Daughter of “The Midnight Avenger.” EVE KNIGHT is spooky and mysterious. She has the power to become a shadow and slither mysteriously through the night. She can also move through solid objects. While Knighty-Knight’s mysterious powers often scare the other Mighty Mites, she scares herself as well. Her Dad might be a mysterious scourge of the underworld, but Eve is a real scaredy cat.
KNIGHTY-KNIGHT age 4
Eve is the one Mighty Mite who wishes she wasn’t a super-hero. She would rather play with her dolls and friends in school, but Max always convinces her to go into action with the rest of them.
LI’L MONSTER age 3
The son of “Monstermash” and “Evilthing,” BASIL DREARY is the littlest Mighty Mite. Like Hyde is to Jekyll, when he throws one of his regular temper tantrums, Basil becomes the monster lurking inside every three year old. L’il Monster is super strong and he becomes even stronger and stronger the worse his tantrums get. Beneath it all, Basil is still a little kid at heart with all the attendant sweetness and innocence, but he’s also a rampaging force of nature.
Li’l Monster is the most impulsive and imaginative of the Mighty Mites.Basil loves TV – especially science fiction shows that he doesn’t always realize are fiction – and he is always coming up with the most outlandishly imaginative solutions to the Mites’ problems. Because he’s the littlest Mite, and because he is so inquisitive, Li’l Monster tends to be the one who gets into the most trouble which forces the other Mites to rescue him.
